What is the "Your card was declined" error?

This error is generated by our payment processor, Stripe, and can happen for a variety of reasons. According to Stripe, if your credit card information (card number, expiration date, zip code, and CVC) appears to be correct, you may need to contact your bank to inquire for more information and ask for future charges to be accepted.

If you're still seeing this error, you can also try the following:

  1. Use a different card — instructions here.
  2. Purchase pre-paid credits here. You can choose the PayPal option and then click on "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" button.
